Booking Terms
Payments
- 25% Deposit Payment required at the time of booking
- 75% Balance Payment required no later than 75 days before check in
Cancellation
- Cancellation requests must be made via email (info [at] samuraisnow.com) or website contact form and reconfirmed by Samurai Snow before being considered a cancellation
- More than 75 days before check in - 25% cancellation fee applies
- 0 - 75 days before check-in - 100% cancellation fee applies
Transferability
- Bookings at this accommodation are not transferable to another accommodation (even in the same building).
- Unless specfically agreed with Samurai Snow, a change of accommodation is considered to be a cancellation of the original accommodaiton booking (cancellation terms apply). Booking of the new accommodation, as a separate booking, would be required.
- It may be be possible to change the reservation name of a booking at this accommodation. However, this must be agreed by Samurai Snow in writing.
Check In / Out
- Check in time is from 15:00 and check out time is from 10:00
- Early check in and late check out can be requested and will be accommodated where the accommodation schedule allows but may be subject to additional charges
- Early check in cannot be guaranteed in advance & late check out can only be confirmed the night before
Damage Deposit
- Guests accept responsibility for any damage caused to accommodation beyond normal wear and tear during their stay and will be charged for the full cost of replacement or repair.
- An inspection of the property will be completed after check-out and if any damage is found, it will be documented and photographed.
- A damage deposit payment may be required to book this accommodation. The amount of the damage deposit will depend on the duration of the stay and will be determined at the sole discretion of the property owner / manager. The damage deposit must be paid in full to fully confirm the accommodation booking, along with the 25% non-refundable booking deposit.
- The damage deposit will be refunded* within a maximum of 10 business days, provided no damage is found during the property inspection completed as soon as possible upon check out.
- If damage is found and is determined to be the result of the guest's carelessness or negligence, it may take several weeks to gather repair estimates and determine the total cost of repairs. If there are excess funds remaining in the damage deposit after the repairs are completed, the remaining balance will be refunded to the guest, minus any bank fees, once the full cost of repairs has been confirmed.
* Refunds are made in Japanese Yen. The amount that you receive in your home currency may differ from the amount that you paid due to exchange rate fluctuations.
No Smoking Policy
- A strict “NO SMOKING POLICY” within this accommodation. Smoking of any kind including but not limited to tobacco, marijuana, e-cigarettes, and vaporizers, is prohibited.
- A penalty charge of 500,000 JPY will be charged to the Guest and the owner / manager reserves the right to evict from the building any person or party not adhering to this policy without a refund for any days remaining.
Excessive Cleaning
- Upon check out, guests are to ensure that the property is left in a reasonably tidy state.
- If there is unpleasant smell or persistent foul odour inside the property, the guest will be responsible for the smell to be removed from the property.
- The right to authorize the provided credit card with excessive cleaning fee is reserved.
- If the property is deemed uninhabitable for the next group of guests, ie; the next group is to check in on the same day or next day, any additional costs associated with moving the next booking to an alternative accommodation will also be charged to the guest.
